Background

During the university studies period, Luca Finocchiaro has worked as electrical facilities drawer and PLC and HVAC control systems programmer.

After graduating in electrical engineering he begun a research activity in the Catania electronic electric and systems engineering department (DIEES) working in the field of EMI and electronic converters.

At the same time he has worked as free-lance designer and local administration (Provincia Regionale) consultant gaining experience in private and public works.

In the 2003 he joined to the IDC-CH2M team working in the STMicroelectronic M6 semiconductor FAB as electrical construction manager; in this experience he gained new skills in the electronic facilities specialist field.

At present he continues to collaborate with Catania University and to work as freelance designer and consultant for several engineering society.
